St Mary’s Institute of Technology and Science (SITS) has come to the auspicious period of its silver jubilee in the year 2021. It is a proud occasion for SITS, the diocese of Palghat under whose patronage it functions, the management, the staff members of various ranks, students, alumni and the public. This is a time to celebrate God’s unceasing faithfulness; a time to acknowledgethe devoted leadership of the man- agement; a timeto appreciate the unfailing hardwork of the staff members; a time to recall the determination of students; and a time to remember the generous support of the public. I am much pleased to join all of you in sharing the joy of the silver jubilee celebrations. This commemorative volume represents in words and images the humble beginnings, the stages of fast growth and the present sturdy stature of SITSin the timeline of the past twenty five years.
