- Conducted Election on 5th April 2024 @2:00 PM ,And the leaders were selected.
- LEADS MEETING: Following the recent elections, on 2nd june 2024 first meeting of students leads were conducted at board room of the College. The newly elected student leaders were announced and welcomed. Their roles and responsibilities within the IEDC Cell were discussed and assigned the same to each student lead based on their expertise and interests.

- EUDR CERTIFICATION PROGRAM on 4/7/2024 @11:45 PM @PLACEMENT ROOM: As a part of EUDR certification survey of rubber farming in kerala, one day training program was conducted to provide the details to the students. The EUDR (European Union Deforeststion Regulation ) is a new EU law aimed at combating global deforestation and forest degradation linked to EU production and consumption. The program was led by Mr. Pradeep C, state head and project manager – sanasvitha.
- FOOD FEST on 5/7/2024 @11:45 PM @ST.MARY’S POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE CAMPUS:The IEDC cell and the college NSS volunteers jointly conducted a food fest for the students.The program was officially inaugurated by our respected director Rev. Fr. Dr. Mathew Illathuparambil. College Principal Ms. Indhukala felicitated the program.
- TRAINING ON COMPUTER ASSEMBLING 8/7/2024 @11:45 PM @COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY LAB:A training program on computer assembling was conducted for IEDC leads. Computer department HOD Mr. Jinto John introduced the program. Computer technology lab assistant Ms. Sajitha provided the training. The students themselves assembled the new systems in the college lab.
- TRAINING PROGRAM ON EMBROIDERY 3/9/2024 @9.30 AM @Seminar Hall:One day training program on the basics of embroidery was conducted for the students. Mr. Jinto John, HOD Computer Engineering department delivered the welcome speech. Rev father Dr.Mathew Illathuparambil, director SITS inaugurated the event. Ms Indukala, Principal, SITS extended her wishes. The IEDC cell provided embroidery kits to the students who registered for the program.The program was led by Mrs. Smitha E K, Fashion designer.
- ORIENTATION PROGRAM BY TALROP 26/7/2024 @10.30 AM @Seminar Hall:
A one-day orientation program was conducted exclusively for the girls in the college under the Talrop initiative.Talrop is a technology-based company specialising in building diverse hybrid ecosystems for different industries through Infrastructure, Innovation and Talent. Computer department HOD Mr.Jinto John extended a warm welcome to everyone. Principal Ms. Indukala officially inaugurated the program.
- YOUTH AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP 2/9/2024@9.00 AM @ AUDITORIUM:
The IEDC Cell recently organized a financial literacy workshop titled ” Youth and Entrepreneurship” at the college auditorium. The event aimed to equip students with essential financial skills and entrepreneurial insights. The program was guided by Mr. Bimi Jose, Vice President of the Choice Group and a resource person from ARTHNIRMITHI. The program was inaugurated by Rev. Father Dr.
Mathew Illathuparambil, Director of SITS. The program was felicitated by Ms. Indukala, the principal of the college. The vote of thanks was delivered by Mr. Jinto John, Head of the Computer Engineering Department.
