An arts club has been formed to develop students’ skills in various fields, including offstage and onstage aspects of arts and fine arts. The arts club comprises both a fine arts club and a radio club. The fine arts club encompasses offstage activities such as writing, drawing, and crafting. Members of the arts club add colour to special occasions such as Arts Day and TecxPo.
Activities
One of the highlights of our club is our radio program segment, where students have the opportunity to showcase their talents and a platform for themselves to express freely. College Radio at our college continues to thrive, offering enriching experiences for students every Wednesday and Friday for 45 minutes. College Radio was inaugurated by the Principal of St. Mary’s Polytechnic College on 17 th October 2022. Anchoring these sessions, we aim to foster creativity and artistic expression through various activities and programs. Additionally, our club offers a unique opportunity for students to dedicate songs to their friends, family, or loved ones during our sessions. These song dedications add a personal touch to our gatherings and create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone involved.
Overall, the Arts Club serves as a vibrant hub for artistic exploration and community engagement. We look forward to continuing to inspire and support the creative endeavours of our fellow students in the weeks and months ahead.
